Sturmey Archer 3 Speed Hub on Hercules Bike Repaired.

Recently we had Recently we had this much loved older Hercules bike in for service. The owner had struggled to find a shop that could service the Sturmey Archer three speed hub. He was delighted when we replaced the pawls in the hub, found parts of the brake levers and white gear and brake cables to match the original cable. "Our 35+ yr old Hercules needed some TLC and they repaired the Sturmey Archer hub by replacing some small internal parts and now the gear change is working well again. Problems with your Gears on your bike or e-bike One of the problems people often complain about is that they are having problems changing gear on their bike. Comments such as "the chain comes off the gear thing at the back" or "the chain is getting jammed in the spokes". One of the likely reasons for this is a bent derailleur hanger. See picture below. This is the piece of metal the derealeiur or rear mech hangs from.
