Do You do House Calls?

That was the questions someone asked me last week and as a mobile bike mechanic the answer is of course yes.

Interesting little task, the customer had recently purchased a new bike following an insurance claim. As is typical with insurance claims,  the insurance company chose to deal with the a remote bike dealer,  so it wasn’t possible for the bike to be returned for a solution to the problem.

The customer had opted to have tubeless tyres, but since the bike had arrived the rear tyre had been regularly deflating.

It was therefor my role to remove the value add a little more sealant replace the valve and re-inflate the tyre. A very pleasant trip out on a warm Saturday morning; especially as the customer makes excellent fresh coffee.

Looking forward to my next visit when the customer has another bike maintenance problem to be fixed.
